3D printing of dental crowns: Research Updates from Otago

In this talk, Dr Joanne Choi, a senior lecturer from University of Otago Faculty of Dentistry will present the summary of findings of the latest research projects from her research lab. The talk will cover a wide range of topics relating to 3D-printing of dental crowns from factors influencing the accuracy, mechanical properties to factors influencing optical properties, such as cement and substrate colour. The talk take the audience through how the researchers find answers to the everyday problem in Digital Dentistry. Dr Choi will share evidence-based, practical guidelines for 3D printing of dental crowns which will give valuable insights to any dental practitioner who uses digital technology at their practice!
