Presentation Title: Emulating Nature: Biomimetic Strategies in Indirect Restorative Dentistry

Abstract: The advancement cement of restorative dentistry has increasingly leaned towards biomimetic approaches that prioritise the preservation of natural tooth structure and the mimicry of mechanical properties. This lecture delves into the innovative application of novel ceramir cad/cam blocks in indirect restorative procedures, emphasising their potential to replicate the mechanical and aesthetic characteristics of natural dentition.

The presentation will explore the cutting-edge concepts of bio-emulation and biomimetic restorative dentistry, highlighting their significance in modern dental practice. Key topics will include the integration of bio-esthetics and mechanics and the role of advanced CAD/CAM technology in achieving precise restorations that support the natural bio-mechanical properties of teeth.

The lecture will cover clinical techniques for fabricating and bonding these blocks, alongside comparative analyses with traditional materials. Furthermore, long-term clinical outcomes associated with these restorations and the implications for patient centered care will be discussed.

Attendees will benefit from case studies demonstrating successful applications of bio emulation strategies, along with insights into the latest research on material properties, bonding techniques, and clinical outcomes. This session aims to equip dental professionals with knowledge and tools to elevate their restorative practices, ultimately improving patient satisfaction and clinical results through innovative, biomimetic approaches.
