Akruit Tataria
Akruti is a Clinical Dental Technician based in Wellington, New Zealand. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Technology (with Distinction) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology from the University of Otago. Akruti's expertise in Removable Prosthetics is complemented by her leadership roles, serving as the President of the New Zealand Institute of Dental Technologists (NZIDT) and an Independent Advisor to the Health and Disabilities Commissioner. Akruti is at the forefront of digital dentistry advancements to implement access to digital workflow in the most challenging of cases. She works full-time at iDD Lab, where she applies cutting-edge digital workflows to patient care, with a passion for high quality removable prosthetics. Akruti also takes on a range of complex cases referred by dentists and specialists, putting her vast clinical experience and hands-on skills to navigate the many challenges of dentures. Through her work and advocacy, Akruti continues to contribute significantly to the field of Dental Technology and patient care in New Zealand.
